Unfortunately with probablity, you never get the same results. You can work on the same thing several times and get different results everytime. I hate it because it usually seems to work against me everytime. That's why I don't gamble . . .Kabal wrote:I actually did some tests on vortexes a while back lol . . .

Re: Magery
Wouldn't you have more success with EV scrolls? Could just pack some of those with you on your next hunt. (have not tried this myself, but plan to once I can scribe them)
I notice, that when I fizzle, if I cast again immediately, my chances of fizzling again are very high. If I pause a few moments and try again, it seems to help.

Re: Magery
Just appears that way. No chance that magery success was coded that way into the game :pHans wrote:Wouldn't you have more success with EV scrolls? Could just pack some of those with you on your next hunt. (have not tried this myself, but plan to once I can scribe them)

Re: Magery
At 100 magery you will not fail any circle spell when using a scroll. You can cast energy vortex 100% success this way.
[14:17] <UOSAPlayer4056> cr3w guild is a joke. Ran by staff members, multi client pking, this shards a joke and a half.

Re: Magery
Level 6 bugs me... I just assume, for level 1, that you actually need a minimum skill of -5.0, or whatever would make it 44 points from 0 to 100%.
Re: Magery
I'm not sure that this is a factor or not, but my character seems to have a higher success rate when I'm wearing little or no armour. I know that armour factors into medidtaion but does it also factor into casting? I've tested it slightly and armour does seem to lower my success rate, but I"m not sure how accurate these tests are. Any ideas or useful input?
