In fact, this is the same template I made back in 2000 and completely dominated factions because of it.

Hold on there cowboy, factions and 2000 were after UO:R, so wtf does that have to do with a viable pvp template in t2a?

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about.

Each event is going to naturally favor some template. I think by nerfing these templates we're pretty much going down that whole "Equality" path. Where does that golden rainbow end?

Truth is that my dexer may be able to fight off a mage 1v1. Of course when I'm beating the crap out of people in Deathmatch and have someone down to 10% a mage can throw a quick energy bolt and steal my glory.

Just like in any game, people should play to thier strengths.

Agreed. Anyway people who are pro-tank mage (like myself) can always have solace knowing that they lost to "just a dexxer."

i am suggesting like a 3 different type tourneys

1: The Original Tourney

2: All Dexxer/Townie Tourney

3: All Tank Mage Tourney

I beat Onslaught in the 1v1 tourney in the Finals round.. Wasn't really that hard.. he doesn't have meditation, and he only has enough mana for 3 - 4 gheals max.. Force him to use his mana, he can't regain mana at all wearing that chainmail suit.. Got a nice valorite trophy on top of that..

i have killed him before myself, but the issue is when he hits you that many times ina row and burns up all your mana lol.. then what are you to do, i ran around the arena about 10 minutes regaining mana, had him at 0% and then server saved right after save his aids applied and i gave up lol.

Try using lower circle spells that aren't as easy to get disrupted.. try timing your spells after his swing, and, abuse insta hit..

I get what your saying about adding them, but are we going to have dexers, mages, and combined double doms or deathmatches? If we do make the change we would need to apply it fairly, yeah?

You act like that duel was a walk in the park.

If i remember correctly, it came down to who swung their weapon first and yours landed, mine did not. I actually had to check my bags to see who even won because it was that close. Before that I'm pretty sure I had you dead two other times but my staff didn't land the killing blow. Yeah, melee characters are awesome guys...sitting there with your thumb up your ass hoping your swings land is great fun.

If I was told correctly, my mana regen is exactly the same with or without armor as long as I don't have meditation.

It was pretty easy on my part, all I had to do was time your swing so you couldn't disrupt me.. Then place a nice nox on your bandaids, and finish you off with a wand.. I even had time to talk shit & brag to the spectators while it was happening.. you can't expect much from a med macer template.. you've of been better off using a katana..

Apparently im the only one who knows how to defeat the mighty med-dexxer.. You should try that template outside of a 10x10..
