Both A and B have been proven incorrect through research, although I dont think anyone has come to conclusions about specifics but the fizzle was only in for a small amount of time during t2a. The patch info is archived in the uostratics archive section. We pick and choose different patches within the t2a era and both of what you put have either been decided as inaccurate or undesireable. Damaja quoted patch info disproving part B.Mazer wrote:I think you're getting two things confused.
A. You shouldn't automatically unequip your weapon when dropping a spell on a target. Instead if you target the spell while equipped, it should fizzle (needs to be changed)
B. You should be able to interrupt yourself mid-cast by equipping (also should be changed but it seems there is evidence that this is inaccurate, which I have yet to see)
Interrupt casting!

I thought we found this to be innacurate?

Re: Interrupt casting!
so can you just equip while youre casting?
Re: Interrupt casting!
i would like to see you had to disarm before casting, releasing spells is wrong. Because I can guarantee you during t2a there was no auto unequip for casting spells or drinking potions
why you think its an option in razor? because no uo has ever supported it until UOR and it was not an option in UOA either. Damn even UOE didnt have autounequip option:) Its just another inappropriate razor addition that further dumbs down uo gameplay.
