Its just a matter of finding a vnc app for android. I dont have an android but since there are so many Open source programs for android it would surprise me if there weren't already a bunch to choose from. The principles are exactly the same as for iPhone.

You think something like this will come out for the Android: Evo?

Yeah, I was wondering if anyone knew which VNC app is best for the Android. I have the Evo. I already can do the forums, IRC, and Ventrillo on my phone, but it would ROCK if I could actually play UO on it.
I've never used anything like this before, so if anyone could walk me through getting this set up, that would be awesome.

I use teamviewer for remote desktop on my android. works for uo but can be a little blury and slow are times. also right or left clicking is a pain to do so moving is real hard.
not sure how good using vnc app instead of teamview.
Oh, and I never brother to resize anything so it is using full 24" desktop size lol:/

This is what I use. I close my laptop when i macro overnight and check my iphone's teamviewer app and boom.
best part? my girlfriend will be driving us somewhere, i'll get curious; remote on and monitor my progress.
it sucks for any playing, but if you're macroing attended or unattended it's great. Especially if you leave the house.

I would really love to set this up. I have one question though. Does my router need any special configuration for VNC or remote desktop?

Yes, you will need to forward the appropriate ports to your computer's local IP address.
Unless you were just doing it form your internal LAN's WiFi connection.
