Unless you are looking in some high traffic pk spots you should be OK. If you are really worried about it I can offer bodyguard protection for 1k per hour.

I'll risk it. That's more than I pay my RL bodyguards.

I believe deeds are newby items, meaning they are blessed to blue toons and not to red.

I've seen conflicting info on whether house deeds are blessed; rather not find out the hard way and lose $40k+ in the process.

Actually in the outlying areas which look like they may have available housing space, I never see any reds, except a few macroing in their homes.

housing deeds are in fact newbied, as long as your blue, if your a red they are not newbied.

ALSO

if you place a housing deed INSIDE of a bag or pouch of some sorts it will NOT be newbied.

Thanks for the advice. It would be nice to find a place. I know this is nauseatingly over-analyzed in other threads, but it irks me, as a new player, that so many houses are controlled by so few people (3 account holders, etc.). The shard is as populated, house-wise, as Chessy was in 2000 with THOUSANDS of players.

your just looking for a place for a small? if so I know of some pretty good places, with low spawn, nice scenery, semi close to towns. pm me and I'll show you sometime if its just a small your looking for. If its bigger, there are spots out there still but it will be a bit more time consuming to find those spots.

Yeah just a small would be nice unless someone has a TOWER they want to give up. I appreciate the offer to show me around ...... lemme first earn enough dough and then see what I can dig up, and if I'm luckless I'll PM you ...... thanks.

Weird, in 2000 on Great Lakes it was impossible to place a small. Here it is extremely easy to place a small.

Fair enough ...... I didn't realize there are still a reasonable number of spots. I guess when I run by them, I assume they're not placeable, or someone would have placed a house there already. Which is a poor assumption apparently.

Ah the days of when 40k meant something.
