Maybe if you have the email address the ICQ account is registered to.

Ah, good point. I'll try to download it today. I wonder how many of my old OSI friends still use ICQ.

I still use ICQ. I prefer it over MSN because on ICQ you rename someone unlike MSN where you have a million names like: 'B#@$%#$&STR' and none that are their UO names.

MSN was updated over a year back, allowing you to rename people..

haha nice. apparently that's how long it's been since I've used msn.

But I had to install it since everyone likes to have different programs. I should just get that one, Trillian?? or something.. that has all instant messaging programs in one.

I do, still have the same number from back in the day. You can tell how old people's ICQ #'s are by there size. Mine is 7 digits, they've gotten longer since than I think. I know 1 person that has a 6 digit ICQ #. He got on REAL early though.

Pretty sure they're up to the mid range of 9 digits.

This chick I met last year had ICQ on her computer. Hilarity ensued while I ridiculed her for it. I ended up getting laid purely because of my ICQ knowledge (it may have just been 'cause I'm a sexy man, but I'm leaning toward ICQ as the main attractor).

Damn, this belongs in off-topic.. the OP doesn't even have a subject so it was impossible to derail

That is incorrect. mIRC has been around since 1994 (Wikipedia says 1995 but I beg to differ). Either way, its definatly been around since before 1997 when UO beta was released.

Hehe when I first started playing UOSA I ran it in a virtual machine running Windows 98 for enhanced accuracy.
