Re: Horse Stamina
The unfairness for ethies wasn't tied to horse stamina, it was tied to the fact that when the system first went live (it was turned off about a month later and stayed turned off for ~ a year), ethereal mounts didnt have a cast time. This resulted in many mount and run situations and resulted in many annoyed people.

Re: Horse Stamina
The big reason ethies were killer for me is that, since the horse couldnt' die, there was no way to permanently remove a persons mount. In other words, if we used a bola to dismount we could not then attack the horse. If we killed a person and they ressed, they instantly had their horse back....which sucks.Kaivan wrote:The unfairness for ethies wasn't tied to horse stamina, it was tied to the fact that when the system first went live (it was turned off about a month later and stayed turned off for ~ a year), ethereal mounts didnt have a cast time. My apologies for bumping an old thread but as the horse stamina issue affects me daily (now that I am back
I am curious as to where things stand with this?
I did test out my ostard last night. I had him standing next to me all night and he was gone by morning, so at some point I think he went wild. However, never having to feed a mount is a problem, I believe.
