the way a clothing bless deed works is that it removes the durability of the item in a way. lets say the sandals have 5 hit points (durability). when the blessed sandals go from 1/5 hp to 0/5 hp, they will still exist but offer no armor. sandals (or any clothing item that does not have a cbd used on it) will be destroyed when they hit 0/5 normally.
