I nominate myself because even though I haven't played in a year, my presence is still felt ...

Not many old players have been nominated, probably because very few people that currently play were around a year ago that remember what went on in the development stages.

People I'd consider nominating other than myself ... (1 if these doesn't belong ... which one do you think?)

Syntax (1 of the original PKs)
Xuk'luk (Xukky) - RIP
Malice (another 1 of the original PKs)
Hemp (even though hes canadian)
Choppa X (tournament dynasty during an active time period with good players participating)
Vlast (original script miner)
Shadowmire Guild (original custom town)

If there were to be a Xuk statue, I still have two of his vanq weapons (untouched since looted) from the last time we fought and probably the only time I beat him on an individual basis which can be used to equip the statue.

Though I have no idea who he is in-game, I nominate Batlin for well, pretty much every post he has ever made. You can look through his post-history and find nothing but helpful advice, rational arguments, facts, and amazing dedication towards advancing the shard as a whole. It's clear that he has been a big aide in the programming efforts on the shard, and we all should feel fortunate for being privileged enough to enjoy it.

Obviously, the statue should be called "Batlin", and be a "llama", and also be animated to "wobble".



Post: I would like to nominate Wise's moustache as an honerable mention.

I nominate Matron. I don't even have time to play anymore (thought i'll probably try to remedy that) but I know how much impact he had on the shard b4 I took leave. Absolutely one of the more important people throughout the shards history.

I agree. I don't know Batlin personally, but I'm usually amazed by every post he makes.

I nominate Alatar. Being one of the oldest players as well as one of the first few true PKers (I think there were only 3-4 of us at the beginning) willing to endure statloss if defeated. Love him or hate him, he has brought a lot to UOSA.

I'm just gonna throw my name out there and see if people remember me helping them during the past couple years that I've played here
