I have a solution for not getting looted, dont keep locked down chests with items in them. I use just secure chest for swaping items, i dont see whats the point of hoarding tons of items.

Problem has since been fixed. Its just im a noob. But what are you to do when you have thousands of each reagent? It weighs too much.

There is a trick to getting an unlimited amount of regs into a container, but you can't secure the container afterward. If you can keep it out of range via tables though, it's fairly secure. It would require you to use up 3x3 tiles in the corner of your house, and any co-owner could axe through a trash barrel to get the regs (I think).
Easier to just be cautious and avoid getting your house looted at all imo

The trick is:
Lock it down!
That's right, locked down (not secure) containers have a restriction only on the number of items (125 max), they can carry an infinite weight.

I keep tables in front of the main entrance of my tower and I keep the first floor backroom door locked. My reagent chest is locked down & locked and the key is in a secure. If someone get's through my 1st set of tables, stealths in while I have the back door unklocked and is GM lockpicking and picks the lock on my reagent chest, they deserve my regs. heh

Absolutely false, the weight limit is likely ~2.15 billion stones assuming a 32 bit signed integer.

Nah just sarcasm, don't think you could get anywhere near that number.
What is the heaviest stackable item? Ore? Leather?
What would 125 stacks of 60,000 weigh?

Ore weighs 12 stones per, so one 60,000 stack would weigh 720,000 stones, 125 stacks would weigh 90,000,000 stones.
I don't know if there's anything heavier than ore.
