Guess I'm so cheap that I even pick up all the random weapons etc left at banks and sell it. Hell, I even kill rats whenever I see them in town.

This.

Time and Gold- its a balancing act. SOmetimes I spend inordinate amounts of money to save me time, and sometimes I spend inordinates amount of time to save me money.

Saved me the post. Exact same for me.

Off of a level 4 treasure chest, the scrolls typically netted me 800-1000 in gold. So that's an extra 5% or so. I had every scroll on my sell agent except Recall and Gate. And you absolutely need to sell all the gems you come across.
Yep, what these guys said.
Count me in too.

I loot gold, gems, weps, scrolls, and regs!

Regs saves me cash on restocking.
Gems are like a 2nd income - I laugh when I see someone farming and only looting the gold; them gems're mine!
Weapons - If they're not good for selling on to players, they're good for selling on to vendors!
Scrolls - I should probably start making spellbooks out of them to sell, but currently I have a sell agent to shift 'em all to vendors.

I pick up and smelt everything I find on the ground.

I loot everything, gems, scrolls, weps, even thigh boots and torches off of orcs. One character I save the gems, figure I have about 20k in gems in the bank. In my house I have a bag with every 1-7 circle scroll, some I have 15-20 scrolls of one spell.

Sure it takes extra time but I got nothing but time.

Also I collect lots of bone armor. Gives decent AR with a good shield (almost GM parry).

That is me, exactly.

If there was a pile of 20 gp sitting on the ground, 100% of us would take it. So if there's helm sitting on the ground that you can sell for, I dunno, 50 gp, why not pick that up too? It's really just the time required to run to the vendor.

Last night I found the wonderful thing in the sell agent called "hotbag", where everything inside your selected "hotbag" will be sold to vendors.

I spent roughly 2 hours at Deciet Lich Lords, and came to the conclusion that selling everything (scrolls, gems, weapons) increases the farming profit 20%. For every 5k I made, I'd get an extra 1k... I made 40k in total and it held true for the entire duration. It's probably substantially higher if you are farming straight liches, since LL's dont have as many scrolls/junk on them (and a much higher sum of gold).

I'm now officially "cheap" ;)

Never used sell or scavenger agents. How do they work?

In Razor go to AGENTS tab then scroll down to Scavenger - it lets you add items (gold, jewels, fruit, anything) so that when it's lying on the ground you'll pick it up automatically. (doesn't work on coffins, just stuff lying on the ground).

So, if you set it up correctly, if you kill say an air elemental or a blood elemental, which drop stuff directly on the ground when they die, all you have to do is walk around the area (within 2 tiles?) and that loot will go straight into your backpack without you having to drop and drag it. This also decreases the chances that a thief will be able to grab the loot from your kill. Or, if you're a thief, you can use it to grab someone else's loot very quickly.

Ditto for regs that spawn randomly on the ground.

Beautiful function.

2 (together). I got out of there, came back 5 minutes later and didn't see another one. In fact, I only saw 1 blue the whole time I was in there as well, who left immediately. Was bizarre.

On the "agents" tab on razor, select sell agent. You can set a "hot bag" in there, that way you don't have to add individual items to the sell agent. Press "Push to enable", and every time you say "vendor sell", it will instantly sell anything it can from inside your hotbag to the vendor. Remember to set the sell limit to 5. Very handy.

You can also use the buy agent to do the same thing and buy out all the regs on a vendor the moment you say "vendor buy".

I didn't ask but thanks a ton!
