i thought you were delusional but i just crafted up a fresh pair of each and checked them out and you are correct.. thats very odd indeed. ill work on changing the graphics for the next installer release but that will only affect new players/installations. this is a client side artwork issue and has nothing to do with the server. i will also be able to make a patch available to change the artwork for current installations of client version 5.0.8.3.

You mean like Lich Lord room? where the only way to stop someone recalling is to get directly next to them with a spell/weapon? Theres a risk in our arena the fact that you guys cant do the same thing you always do and feel you have to moan about it is actually ironic considering move of you pride yourself on how inventive you are in UO.

The lich lord room is accurate, your arena is not. I spoke to marmalade about it and he seemed completely reasonable. He said himself that he is amazed the GM's would allow it, and that he (personally) both a.) felt that it was a bit much, and b.) would refrain from banning people from the brick house simply out of respect. Though I can imagine that his opinion/logic/understanding does not extend throughout the rest of your guild.

I see your picture from your event though, the place is walled off with a barrier and using the trash-can system. You and I both know that provided you detect, nobody is doing to get past that without killing you just as you open the barrel. Which is plausable, except the goal is to get into the arena undetected. Sure a PK could EQ from the outside, that's cool, they might even get to meteor someone dueling. There is also a tiny tiny chance that someone can target through the corner in the palasade, assuming the duelers are on the exact tile and the attacker can do alot of damage.

You essentially have a custom location that somehow went through (I know back before I quit the first time this was a discussion, and you guys were failing the polls) and you can use it to exclude other players in the game.

I cannot recall any circumstance on OSI where a player was granted their own area free of the mark spell, that they could sanction off from the rest of the population at will.

Oh yeah, besides the teleporter is like a "stealth detector", lame.
