Once I camped the architect back when you could steal deeds. I stole a L-shape deed from a guy who quit that very same day. (I also looted another house about two minutes later.)

That stolen L is my only real house to this day.

I am too, which is why I am posting to warn other players so they can learn from what happened to me. I know that most people who read this and reply with either do so to flame me, or support one of the two names brought up. The fact is that I want other players to avoid this situation. I talked with Tabius in IRC as the log reflects and posted the logs from both conversations (matron,tabius). The facts are facts, people can say this and that at the end of the day I am out 160k because I was scammed and it seems more than likely that it was Matron. Regardless people need to be careful, as it appears I was not.

I saw him say ka always wins, the fake tabius. I think tabius would have scammed ca instead of ka if he was getting revenge? Lmao

The real or fake one?? LOL, all I can say is if i wanted any sort of revenge I wouldnt have just screwed up my name in the process... I would have made a fake like matron did. Imagine that fake Matrons and Chums all over the land doing good deeds... that would really make people think the servers gone topsy turvey.

In any case, I hope all players listen to the advice I give, never deal with a broker without fist contacting them via irc, or direct message on the forums prior. Always ALWAYS ask questions if you are unsure.

There are ways to find out the fakes, guild abbreviations is the best way to this date.

Whats with matron pulling all these lame scams lately and picking on the noobs.... cant you take a challange and go for a bigger target?

Lay off the new comers.... more people on the shard is a good thing...

That Tabius is denying his former membership in cA says a lot, IMO.

Matron is a Scumbag for scamming people like this she should be banned

Yeah, I was really starting to respect cA in many ways (even with having been "victimized"..alot of what they do is pretty clever, and isn't really griefing)...but this is really lame bottom of the barrel stuff, dropping a level below the usual creativity and doing stuff that's just mean to new players=teh suck:(


There's a fine line between creative nefarious deeds that keep things interesting, and just scamming stuff from some poor new dude.

I would like to say that I appreciate all of the support from fellow honest gamers. More importantly I would like to thank not only Brother Tabius but also Chaos and Kryptonical for helping me out in this situation. All three of these upstanding individuals chipped in and gave me the equivilent of what I lost, they are honest and upstanding. They didnt even have to do a thing as it was not them who scammed me, yet they felt it was necessary to give me assistance so I would like to publicly thank Brother Tabius, Chaos, and Krytonical, thank all of you, it is greatly appreciated.

I can remember when Chumbuket have stole my Tower ... i was MAD
losing 15kregs and many rare items but yes it was my fault to not do detect hiding.. but at least .. i was having many char to remake the cash back quick .... ya it cool this UO

UO is a old game .. we are playing on a very nice free shard here whit maybie MAX 300 real player online and alot player who always macro

Did i miss something here? I hate to sound like an ass about this, but matron is a known scammer and the whole Ca Guild is about stealing peoples things on a regular basis. They once made hemperor's tamer a dozen some odd count pk just to grief him.

I'm surprised anyone would buy or sell anything to matron.... I just can't believe with all the evidence against CA, that ANYONE would walk near any of them with anything in their pack.

They are the reason people lock their doors and never go in their houses in most cases.
