You have good lateral thinking skills, and I presume you are a cherished part of any team.

Well f it then. If I'm not getting a blessed neon horse I'm not bringing any of my friends here! Infact, I'm taking my ball & going home!

Didn't OSI in 99 have a refer a friend program?

If I remember correctly if they played 3 months you got 1 month free. So for Era accuracy I propose if you get a friend to play for three months you get one month free!

Killer strategy for a suggestion rea: Make a thread, allow for discussion and come at anyone who discusses it in a way that isn't "Omg Mens Rea, this idea could save everyone! You are a genius!"

I am all for shard growth and encourage whoever I can to play. You're not gonna get much steam behind you if you're just an ass to anyone who tries to discuss it. Tone down the nerd rage before hitting reply next time.

You are such a skilled orator. Surely the staff here is doing the shard a disservice by not heeding your suggestions.

Referral programs really wouldn't be something that would bring more people to this shard. It would allow for more abuse of a well intentioned program and that's about it.

Always has to be someone looking to get something for nothing as there really would be no way to track legitimate "friends" being brought to the shard.

How about bringing friends to the shard for the express purpose of bringing friends to this shard? Reward, having more people you know to play with..............................yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay friends to play with! Good Times, Good Times :D

^This is the only referral program we need. Anything else will certainly be exploited.

As for new players, we have guilds and people who help new players out already. We just need better promotion of them.
