Not every player on this shard can spend hours looking for a house to place. I have finals next week, I don't exactly have time to waste. I also used the search feature but none of them seemed to have anything to do with the in-game economy. The shard uses things outside of the t2a era because they are beneficial, this problem should also be an exception to era accuracy.
Whilst it is important to be era accurate, it is also important to not follow this rule blindly. It seems a serious issue has been ignored and whilst it may not look like a problem now, if the shard keeps growing it will be.

you make a terrible witness
i take it you havnt taken the time to search the trade forum

maybe you should
no room for housing is era accurate
do players who dont have the time to spend any time in game because they are so busy in rl really deserve the same things as people who took the time to earn what they want?

its almost as if the players who have been here for a long time and put more effort in are getting the better houses... wtf how is that fair?

Too bad?
No one feels sorry for you.
I had finals too. Play after your finals are over. It's not hard. You can own a castle if you farm and save. Stop whining.

Most houses in the trade forum sell for 10-20k over deed price, so not being able to get a house over a small size is a complete lie. It's not like old UO where houses would sell for much more over deed price because of lack of room. Houses are always falling and being placed on this shard which keeps the market running smooth and at a fair price for new players who are looking for something bigger than smalls.
When it actually becomes a problem... meaning when this shard grows to the size that EA production shards were back in 98-99, then it can be looked at and dealt with. However, right now, it's really not a problem.

it's real funny how in every poll related to this topic it always gets voted that the housing rules should be changed so there are less houses.. but then there always the same people arguing that this is how it should be because "back then you couldnt place a house.. ERA ACCURACY LOL" and "one house per character is ERA ACCURACY LOL" even though you get 3 accounts and really you can get more than 3 accounts if you aren't a f'in retard.

It's not

The consensus to this BEATING A DEAD HORSE TOPIC as posted by Derrick, was...
"It's better to have a full looking shard, than an empty one."
If you need to see the EXACT wording, go pry the quote out of the archives, and stop bumping this retarded topic.

if you weren't a retard you might understand that it will never go away.. just like every other slight problem people have. new players come, new players post. you only assist in the bumps sir.

People are more likely to stick around if it seems fuller than if it looks empty. Hence, shard growth so it actually becomes fuller rather than just seeming like it.

Good'n.
Got any other topics you want to mass debate over the course of the next 10 years?
How about we talk about this when it's actually a problem?

he's pretty much the only pk i've successfully slaughtered 1v1, not counting pks who ran away after my pwn was undeniable (which i suppose i can give him credit for, most people would have run like a pansy... he stood his ground and fought)
