Actually it isn't your business, my price is obviously outside of your price range, or beyond what you are willing to spend so I'd appreciate if you didn't heckle my potential buyers and take "your business" elsewhere.

Supply and Demand; if you don't like his price, then move on. If the demand is there, he'll sell, if not, he'll either hold off or sell for less. Marketing 101.

On that note, I buy ingots at 5gp per ingot. There are people who will always sell for less, you just need to find them.
