That is text-log from the other person who was trying to sell him the tower. He states he will let it go for "cheap" because he has plenty, only in turn to scam him of the "good deal"

Point being: OP was scammed of allegedly 500k+ in gold for a tower purchase. You accuse him of scamming himself when he comes to the forums to state he is leaving over it.

This will be my last post. I did not mean to get anyone worked up and I was not raging. And I do not want pity or items as stated so foolishly above. I was simply sharing an experience of mine with a scammer to others in hopes of what happened to me will not happen to anyone else. Thank you all again and I hope you all enjoy and that this post will help a new player like myself out one day. Like I had stateted previously I had know idea you needed a broker, haha. That was my fault and what happened happened.

Secure house trading was a part of t2a, but after this server's cutoff date for patches, which I think is before the 11/23/1999 patch.

Umm, January '00 for secure house trading is very different from being with in the same month of the cutoff date... The cutoff date is November '99 and the shard is using mostly all of the patches from that month.
