The chest "opening" could be skipped using options. Yea, Derrick I tested this out and it is in fact the case. I actually installed UO 97 release, the did T2A upgrade so I have all of the old features running wonderfully. If anyone wants a process on how I did this I will try to post it in a few days.

Just install that, it's the original CD, and patch up to your desired client version.
