Back in the post rep-patch, pre t2a days when the Brit healers was a war zone, this guy would flag gray outside of town and recall in to get people to attack him. Thieves who stole off the ground to flag were guard callable, and the NPCs would do it if they noticed, but I never once saw the guy recalling in get guard whacked. (He attacked outside of town just so he wouldn't be noticed committing the crime.) I'm not positive that guards could not be called on him, but I never saw him guard whacked.

The difference is he did NOT perform the criminal action while in town. He just went grey then recalled in.

If you have an active EV out there attacking a blue, you are commiting a new criminal action every time it hits the person. If you are in town while this rogue EV is out there performing criminal actions in your name... well.

You are correct. Don't people who know how to cast EV know how to cast dispel?

Most know how to dispell. But if you would read the original post you would see a pvp toon would jump on an EV of a farming toon and proceed to attack. So instead of casting dispell then recalling safe bet is too recall first. Granted it'd be safer to recall to a safe zone outta guards.

If you are using an EV and you see a blue come on the screen, dispel should be the first spell cast.

Unless you want to invite them to attack, of course.
