"I remember Whistler Mirror, Darth, Yoda, Pyrite, Enigma. I never did any of the champ stuff, I was basically out the door at that time. I do remember C8V basically being what K^A is here  . HH, kgb, udl, dta, koc, and some others were the big guilds from my recollection. Oh, and those wispwood roleplay wierdos were catching on for some reason I was a member of udl and a founding member of dta. (which I see still exists though the site is gone)

I don't know about the relics and whatnot, the item-to-have when I played was a valorite runic hammer, and like only one guild I know of had one (and duped it 1000 times) so all their members were really lame (cough..HH..)"

I migrated from Chessie to Siege way back around UO:R - primarily because there wasn't any place to build a house on Chessie. Siege became the bomb for me. I was still a total noob after that year or so on Chessie and recall asking Matron if you could rob banks on Siege. Lol.

I remember all the names listed above and lots more. When my last house on Siege fell a few years ago, some of the stuff that was lost included items crafted by Lady Pyrite many years before that.

Siege became too complicated of a place to play.

I can't really remember when I played exactly...it was right when T2A came out...and I remember hunting bears and selling the flanks...

Also everyone at Minoc Bank was named Slim Shady or variations of that name...apparently emenem was popular then?

It's all incredibly blurry...but that was my UO life...

Oh and I remember farming summoned earth elementals outside glow to raise fencing...

I got my first taste of UO when I went with my oldest brother to a friends house. There I saw the awesomest game ever. UO was still in beta then. When it was released, my older brothers both got accounts and let me have a character or two on each account so long as I mined ore for them on their shards and played a shard they didn't. I began as a miner in Minoc on Baja and Napa Valley. Baja was where I mined for them and Napa Valley is where I played. I played like that until shortly after T2A was released and bought my own account. I continued on with those shards and played another one which I cannot recall the exact name but it was a German shard and started with a D. I stopped playing as much when Trammel came into being and went back to just mining most of the time. Eventually AoS came out, I was so excited I preordered. As soon as I loaded it onto my computer I was so disappointed I just quit. When I first started, I used to collect the crap around the banks. So by the time I quit, I had tons of objects that would later become rare, such as NoDraw bags, wristwatches, etc. I also had houses, a hooded shroud from preordering, and every holiday and veteran reward point because I never cashed them in. I knew I could have made a lot of money on Ebay, but the disappointment was so great I just had to walk away. Then, I found out about T2A player shards. I played Athlore, Metropolis, and Winds of Rage for brief periods before quiting for a many years. Until one day I saw my son playing Perfect World and couldn't stand for it. UOSA was the first T2A era shard I found on a rating site and due to everyone's devotion to accuracy, I started myself and my son and we have been here for about a year and a half.

I played on Great Lakes on release. Joined some guild named Dark Empire. No idea wtf I was doing, I just remember I had to re-roll and put DE at the end of my name. :P

I remember hiding out at Buc's Den for hours waiting for PK's and ambushing them..good times.

Moved to Sonoma when that shard first came out, and was in an Anti guild named BoL (Brotherhood of Light, corny name, I know) with my older brother. We recently joined UOSA and started the old guild back up with our other brother and some RL friends.

I started in October 1999, and the only reason I know this is because I started my second character over my December 1999 xmas break from college.
Easy way to tell your acct age:

Just log in your account on UO Registration! I haven't logged on that page since the day of AoS release when I cancelled my account, which was 7 years ago... so they're in no hurry to delete accounts!

Good god. I don't think I played an hour total in the last 2+ years of that. So hard to let go apparently.

All of that was spent being perpetually poor on Atlantic (I had more cash here in my first week than I had at any point then).

"Jack Nickelson,

I've always been a Moonglow freak and, on Siege, ran West Moonglow Outfitters. I currently live, on 2nd Age, in a little house at the top of the road running north into Moonglow - the three barns or whatever they are border me on the top side. Occlo is another place where I live and hang.
