This was an unprecedented situation. The tower was seized along with all it's contents when it was found that a particular group of players had been gaining access to some players accounts through information most likely obtained from another freeshard. There is a posting about this in shard news, and the suggestion that you use unique passwords on UOSA is sincere.

I am going to lock this thread, as speculation on the who what and why is not relevant beyond the above posting, and it would be inappropriate for accusations to be hurled around in these forums publicly.
Accounts and IP's that were shown to have accessed the accounts have been banned and blocked. No one currently playing on UOSA is known to have been a conspirator in this incident.
If you have information to provide on this, please do so privately.
