Very nice! This will be my next task. Oh and I posted more of the flyers up today. I actually took an extended walk and made it back to work with 5 minutes to spare. On my way home I noticed that out of about 80 (which is all I could get posted in the little time I had) flyers a third were still up. That is a decent amount that disappeared whether the wind took them or a living being.

I think the idea is great, but we could make something more... professional? Im not that good at creating this kind of stuff, buy a beautiful banner can cause a lot of impression...

I'm sure there are some people who are great at photoshop on this server somewhere

I threw that together in like 15 minutes as an idea. If I can do it, anyone can as I have zero experience in these things.
Someone with some real skills could make something quite cool I'm sure. Mostly we just need something that grabs people's attention, especially imagery that old school players would see and instantly know what it was that they were looking at.

You don't make flyers in Photoshop. You do it in InDesign unless you want your text to look like crapola. Print work is not the same as digital.
Edit: The reason I'm not volunteering to do it myself is that I simply don't have access to any Windows machines any more in which to run it. My days as a graphic designer are long past. I got tired of the competition.

You are doing it wrong.

I worked at a commercial printing company for several years. Photoshop is used for 99% of all adwork.

*Sigh* Yes, for the design. For text it is imported into InDesign.
Or you're a Mac person and you just use Quark.
No commercial printing company would just print out JPGs. None.

I think it's imporant to recognize that the best way to do these is however you can, with whatever tools you might have access to

Better can be better, but less than professional can still be very effective.
Thanks guys
