I only lost this b/c i was stat.

Archery contest!

This event will be taking place on Wednesday October 27th at 5:15 PM EST.
Thats right.. it will be taking place on International Hemperor Day.

What does this mean?

Only participants dressed in traditional IHD clothing will be able to participate.
(Clothing will be provided)

During this contest the only things a player can use are player crafted regular bows and arrows.
They will be provided for you but you can bring your own.

Archers will be set into 1v1 heats, elimination style.
The first archer to kill their target wins the heat. (Targets will be provided from the local prison, dressed in IHD clothing)

The contest will go until there is only one archer remaining, and zero prisoners of course.

There is no entry fee.

Prizes - 3000 Arrows/bolts - UoH
- Sweet magic bows - UoH
- Verite Archer suit + sash/sandals - Panthor
- 2 boxes of gm made archery weapons - UoH/Darkwing
- Gold - UoH
- Trophy - Lord British

Also, Players will now be known as prisoners.

Once again we will be accepting any donations players have as prizes for this event.

Dueling! Nov 6th - Saturday 1:30 PM EST - Jhelom Dueling Pits

Competitors will compete in a one on one contest. The winner moves on to the next round.

Rules - No leaving the dueling area
- No using any items of any kind except for food
- No Magery
- No using any skills (active use ones, stealing, hiding etc)
- All participants will be on foot
Equipment - The only equipment duelers can use
- Player crafted or NPC sold Plate armour
- Player crafted or store bought Metal shields (the 'metal shield')
- Player Crafted or store bought broadswords

PLEASE DONT BRING ANY EXTRA ITEMS THAT YOU DONT NEED TO - This will make snooping/making sure you have no magic items much easier and speed up the game

Note: Store bought platemail will be provided for those that cannot afford to get your own platemail.
Player crafted swords and shields will be provided as well as repairs on site.
PRIZES - Box of awesome swords (30+) - UoH
- Box of awesome shields - UoH
- A select few sweet swords - UoH
- Trophy - Lord British
- A vendor deed, friending at the Daily Planet, and a free authographed photo by Clark Kent

The grimace had a monumental come back only to lose in the end for second place.
Third place went to Zullic after Jaguar suicided with an armour free battle for third place.

The Bareknuckle Boxing matches have finally been legalized by Lord British

Competitors will compete in a one on one contest. The winner moves on to the next round.
The event will take place at the Jhelom Fighting Pits
The event will begin at 4:00 PM EST (server time) Sat Nov 27th

Rules - No leaving the dueling area
- No using any items of any kind except for food
- No Magery
- No using any skills (active use ones, stealing, hiding etc)
- All participants will be on foot

Equipment - Due to Lord British's legal advisors there have been some safety requirements for us to proceed
- All participants must wear SSSTSA approved head gear (a non magic leather cap)
- All participants must wear SSSTSA approved foot wear (any non magic footwear)
- No other equipment can be used or worn

For further information on the Sosarian Sports Safety Technical Standards Association please contact chumbucket, Roadkill or any other SSSTSA representative.

Sorry this took so long, lost a lot of info.

This was a double elimination tournament, which meant lots of fighting!
Many faces were pummeled and many knuckles broken!
