Well just going from town to town getting gold can be pretty profitable if you're quick enough. Chests in inn's & jewelers sometimes have gold and jewels, and most boxes also comes with resources, although I've only seen leather and wood in large amounts, ingots are always stacks of 8.
For rares they are all pretty much camped all the time, the only exceptions are wire/forged metal, cards, and crooked lockpicks, which are very easy to come by. Hanging herbs are supposedly a daily spawn but I have really never opened one of those chests without it already being picked clean, as they are in close proximity to banks. I don't doubt every thief in britain tries blind stealing from any worthwhile chest whenever they pass them by
Nothing to steal from town chests

Re: Nothing to steal from town chests
Here's the thing - I have not made a crate thief here and if I am asked by an admin for my list (for era accuracy), I will not be making one.Corbin wrote:If there is an assist, it should be made public as to have a level playing fieldLibby wrote:If you need an assist, let me know. I have a list from the T2A era of the places my "decor acquisitions artist" (crate thief) would hit and what spawned there.
After all, wouldn't all y'all rather have the fun of discovery?
Re: Nothing to steal from town chests
i have boxes of the pickable rares, but i did it back when there was far less competition.
I would get 20 'rare' items a round. So im gona guess the large amount of peopel doing this is affecting your find rate
