Max did not, and was the winner at 100k, but refused to pay, called me a british word for cigarettes and asked me to fornicate with myself.

Zanzabar also declined to pay.

Max, he changed it to 100k well before the auction end - in fact, before I even saw it. That's perfectly fair. If you had buyer's remorse, it's up to you to retract your bids before the auction end (like you did here viewtopic.php?f=73&t=25081&p=222794&view=show#p222794, speaking of "someone who wasn't going to pay up to begin with").

That's also not "retracting all bids". That's changing a max bid to 100k.

When you said "I'm retracting my bids", you retracted your bids.

When someone drops their bid down by 5k, you think that means they're saying "I'm retracting my bids"?

With him editing his post I'd say remove all his bids and bids that were posted to out bid him .. You shouldn't be expected to bid against someone who is going to edit bids.. If anything post when your done and at what amount ..

Fair enough. You guys are welcome to run your auctions how you like. To me, "100k" means "I bid 100k", not "I retract all my bids".

Fair point Mad Max. Although you did have like a full day to edit your bids as well, so saying "last second" is a little disingenuous.

You both refused to pay, so lesson learned on my part, I'll just know to publicly exclude bids from each of you next time.
