You must be new to the concept of PKing. The goal of PKing is to kill the other party. In order to achieve this goal, you must be within spell or melee range. Thus, if the PK's target runs, it behooves him to chase it.

Often times, the target has enough of a lead where it is not in the best interest of the PK to stop to cast a spell, because this will increase the distance between the two, giving the target a better chance of getting away.

Other times, this distance is short enough that the PK may successfully cast and target a spell, such as paralyze, which temporarily immobilizes the target.

The biggest enemy of the PK is the entity known as the "guard zone". When said target enters the guard zone, a PK cannot continue to chase. When the PK fails to run you out of pouches before you reach said "guard zone", it is not necessarily because he gave up or ran out of mana.

We didn't paralyze him 23 times either, hehe. I remember the chase, nothing special. Two pks chasing someone and trying to paralyze him on his mad dash to the guard zone, certainly not 23 times. I'd say 10ish, 15 max.

In any case, it would seem that this young man has a serious lacking of love. I think it's time for a love prescription. He seemed a little angry IRL in-game as well, not just here. He likes to call us "kids" too, which leads me to think that he has a child pr0n fetish which could lead to some serious jail-time. We need to help him ASAP.
