UO Second Age

Certain classes of players would need third party cheat-ware to compete. And I'm somehow fine with that.

I don't use it now, so I guess the obvious answer for me is yes. I've never used a program, I just play the game.
Perhaps I should, though. Based on the other comments in this thread, I'll have to check it out. But honestly never considered using it before reading this discussion

As far as "only from launch" other things existed that no longer exist...

yeah I used Easy Macro Recorder back then and wedges stuff in my keyboard. But it wasn't as simple and easy or efficient as the possibilities Razor gives. You also couldn't macro hardly any of the skills with EZ Macros. Nor could you create a small macro to use a recall scroll and target your home rune and set it to a hotkey. Plus with EZ macros you couldn't use your mouse or keyboard while it was running. Very primitive program compared to Razor. Plus the admins and gm's can monitor what 3rd party programs are used and allowed. However, Razor does level the playing field for everyone that knows how to use it so I'm all for it.

I would love to play au naturale, as Lord British intended it, as long as everyone else was.
In fact, I tried when I started here as I didn't use Razor for the first couple of weeks.

As it stands, in the very least, I wish Derrick would block the Light Level filter for more appropriate play. Perma light is weak, most certainly in dungeons.

As for the keyboard wedge, before I had kids and I smoked in the house, a cigarette but was the most effective and maleable wedge available.

So can I sneak a how do I do that in here? I know I CAN change the size of the game screen with Razor. But I don't know how. I don,t want it taking up full screen, but I would like it about 15-20% larger then the next bigest screen.

And yes I would play without.

Side Note; Thank God for Second age & wifi. My truck lost it's oil pump & I have been/am stuck in a motel all weekend. without UO, I would be in a sad state by now.

Koden jump on in to irc we can easily answer questions like that .. (in razor in the more options tab at the bottom you will see a box called force game size this can be adjusted and when you restart razor it will force your game size to what you set it as ... )

for quick little questions like that pop into our irc chat .. even if you just use the web based chat located in the upper left hand section of this page you are reading.

To add, if you want everything in UO to appear bigger, lower your desktop resolution. Forcing game window size in razor has some negative consequences - you will start to see graphical errors on the side of your screen. Changing the desktop resolution will make it so you can "see" the same distance in the play area, but everything will appear larger.

I've never used Razor, guess I should figure out how. I've always used a piece of tape over one of the F Keys for simple macros.
