Go away Panthor, go and find your own inaccuracy and post about it in the trash talk forum where you live irl.

Sorry you can't find inaccuracies because you are from WOW not UO and your romantic interests reflect that.

I was wondering if there were any plans to add this in?
The Demo Code reflects it and it wasn't patched out until the spring of 2001. Sounds like it was possible in our era.

I specifically recall seeing this after the new house types were added, but NEVER before that. I forget which sign type you had to change your sign to, but once at that type, you could dye the sign with a dye tub. Had a guy do this for me on my two-story villa on napa valley. I only saw this start happening after these new house types were implemented, and I immediately wanted to do it to mine.
I know this isn't exactly solid proof. It is just my recollection. As clear as my memory may be on this subject, it's possible it was able to be done and just nobody on napa valley figured it out until after the housing changes.

While I don't remember people doing this specifically, (perhaps it was just so common I never gave it a thought), I think it would be silly to assume that OSI coded in a set of permissions that would only allow the owner to dye the sign. Considering that the item was not "locked down". But, if it was considered to be "locked down" then it would probably still be dyable by anyone, since almost every item, locked down or not, could be used/manipulated by any player. An inaccuracy that still exists in UOSA today, given that one cannot use locked down house keys...
