I like knowing that they went through extra lengths to make sure they don't do things like that. Other than players being at fault. I would like to know that there's no other ways to enter peoples homes without the use of a gate or the front door. I find it... a waste of time for me to throw stuff in my house if they can get in there otherwise.

I find it silly that people do this, but that just my opinion. To each their own right?

oh, and.. I must be new? Did my first post give it away?
was talking about pied pipers tower :)

To the OP if you are not using a macro you made especially for opening your door then you most likely left it unlocked by accident.

As for them being admins. Who knows. I doubt it. They have rules but just because an organization has "rules" does not necissarily mean anything. At all levels of orginizations be it companies, goverments, or even non-profits rules "can" be broken using various other means or methods.

These group of guys here seem honest. Also if a GM was gonna do stuff in game why would they bother breaking in someones house when they could simply create uber items in game that are blessed, make them invincible, and are one hitter quitters, etc.

And for cA. Yes I have seen you guys around "my friend's" tower for the past 3 days (I don't have a house except for one I got from a dude who "tried" to scam me and it is a small. So it doesn't count IMHO.)

As for the security in it. Every floor is secured and you are wasting your time running circles around it.

Our friend Bill Lumbergh taught me a thing or two about "wings" tho.

Dear OP:

If you have a small house outside of Moonglow that houses the Red Company guildstone, then I looted you today. I did not, however, spend hours and hours camping your small home for the meager loot inside. Indeed, I played for less than an hour today.

I will not divulge my methods. But I will say three things.

First, [ca] does not use any illegal methods to get into homes or to do anything else for that matter.

Second, there are better ways to get in a house than waiting for absurd amounts of time at the door. I will not say how we do it, but I will only point out that we spend ALL of our time in game looking for ways to do these sorts of things. And we work together. We are one of the largest and, certainly, the most organized guild on the shard. Also, you don't know when we are around for the most part.

Finally and supposing you are who I think, that you were looted was due to your own carelessness. More generally, it is always the fault of the person who is looted. Home security is easy on this shard. No moderately careful person will ever be looted.

And, no, we are not staff members. The staff here run a stable and fun shard, they do it professionally, and without much in the way of compensation for the time they put in. Accusations like this, and based on such flimsy evidence, shouldn't be posted to the forums.

That's quite funny - I looted that same house dry 2 weeks ago. The guy was standing at the bank telling me that I am a newb thief etc so I took his key and rune. By the time he got home I had everything neatly in a single bag for him to ban me and carry all the loot outside for easy transportation.

Afterwards, I was even nice enough to give him some hints and tips on house security.

It seems like he did not take heed of my warning.

Well, actualli, I don't think havin' that on you rli is that big of a problem. Provided that you have a table barrier with ur stuff behind it and make sure to always use detect, you'll never get looted anyways. And also provided it isn't a hassle for you to change the locks. I did it for a while there before I relocated, no problems whatsoever.

Pretend your house is a little submarine. If you open the door to come inside, your stuff is going to get wet, so you clearly see the need for two doors. That way, you can open one door, swim inside, close it, drain the water out, then open the second door.

Submarine captains never get submarine looted.

Laugh at the submarine analogy all you want, it works.
