Finally, a valid comment! However, SolsbaryStouvre, if you really can't grasp the notion of "constructive feeback", maybe it's time to stop "lolling" your way through UOSA forums and think about the direction your (real) life is heading? Just a thought! Look, I think we can all agree that there's nothing wrong with asking for help, in any form. Afer all - you never know until you ask! Gold is very easy to come by here, I agree, and this forum topic is speaking to those who understand that, and have had enough time here to get to the point in their UOSA "career" that hey realize that giving back is important in order to help others get to where they want to be! well..... and those of you that need a good laugh =)
Maybe, Solsbary, if you'd have utilized the human element in your community, you wouldn't have had to chop trees for 30 of the last 96 hours. Wow, come to think of it, that's 1/3 of your life since the 3rd of this month! congrats, I bet your (totally real) girlfriend is super pissed that you haven't taken her out on the town in your super nice sports car since last Thursday. Moreover, How have you had time to do (or physically go to) work of any kind while (according to you) you've been spending an average of 7.5 hours a day "chopping wood".
Grow up, people! It's a game. A fantasy-based escape from reality. A fictional, fun life we live in addition to our own. I think sometimes we forget that this is not a substitute for one. (lookin' at you Solsbary, Sercruse, and elhorno!)

HAHA! Hes my neighbor!!!

Edit: Nevermind, this guy is just trolling. There is a difference between asking for help and crapping on people unless they hand you a castle.
And btw your math is off. I havent spent nearly that much time in game. Sorry.
Enjoy your heating stands.

Heating stands? I don't get that one...also, I can back up my math easily, "neighbor". Please try to follow along, this is a little more complicated than that map you seem to be having trouble with. Also, I never crapped on anyone for anything! Also, I haven't been "offered" anything to decline. Jekkis, the only person to step forward, wanted to friend me to a property that was unfortunately too small for the purposes that I require. I don't know about you, but when I think of housing, I would like to minimize my vulnerability, and when you have others able to come and go as they please, what's the point? If he visited me in his own home, and forgot to lock the door or something - it's right back to square one. Forgive me for not being self depreciating.
As far as the math is concerned....I think we can all agree that trees yield an average of 35 Logs. If you don't agree, just write down the yields and divide by the number of trees. I used to live in your exact spot. I know the trees in that area. Fact one.
Boards sell for 3gp per, so in order to have made nearly 200k by "chopping wood" you would have had to visit 1,500+ trees (closer to 1,900 - but whatever). At a minute per tree (including sanding the lumber into boards, which is under-estimating) you are looking at LEAST 25 hours. I don't care how you cut it, you've spent most of your life in front of your computer since Nov. 3rd , 2011.
Have a great day, everyone!

Yeah I just realized its in the same spot XD. I went to check it out and noticed it wasnt possible to have a house around. I didnt pay close enough attention to the image.
And yeah just placed it the other day. XD
Draconian - you are assuming I am walking tree to tree and that there arent places you can sit and farm 1000 logs without moving. What an idiot. All that math wasted

Try closer to 10 hours, and while doing computer work

You have a good point there, I guess I forgot about those spots! However, it's still quite an investment of time... Regardless of how much you yield. Nevertheless, congrats on being close to buying that 2-story, that's quite an accomplishment!

Welcome to the shard, you come off like a douchebag.
People asking for loans typically present business plans to would-be investors. Saying youre smart and resourceful does not in the slightest bit encourage anyone to trust you. And the way you have conducted this conversation here in the forums leaves me with even less trust that you are someone worth investing in.
But you're prob just trolling.

How is that possible? I am just asking for help? Please explain how asking for help from a very (very) narrow audience is something a "douchebag" would do? that's pretty messed up to say. If you guys don't have anything worthwhile to say, by all means, just keep it to yourself!

Never-mind, I just read some of the comments I've posted above, and I totally agree with you, Bojangles (etc), I may have been a bit defensive. I apologize for behaving in such a way.

But I digress:
If anyone out there has a lot of gold, and doesn't mind the risk, I am trying to get a keep and could definitely use a loan! Thanks for the interest, and have a great day!
