If you can get players to sell them to you for 120 this is true. But who is going to sell to you for the same price they could just sell to the vendor for and avoid having to do trades? If you buy them for 140 off players then sell them all back to the vendor for 120 you're still out over 26k plus all the time it took to gather up the diamonds from different people.

Who sells gems .. my box of gems is like almost 300stones heavy ??

It's worth whatever people will pay for it. The same goes for anything.

Negitive brother, it might only consume 1 diamond but you would have to buy 1337 diamonds to craft it....so the very first ring will cost 1337 x diamond price + ingot used.

But the more you make using the pile of "starter" diamonds the cheaper the rings will cost. Make two rings? cost per ring gets cut in half. Make 1337 rings, then each ring is worth diamond price.

Derailing a little bit, but is the maximum amount of diamonds in a wedding band then 60k?

Just thinking it would be nice for the happily married to have a wedding band reflecting their real anniversary date. Like 111111 diamonds if someone got married 11/11/11. I'm not married but I'd understand if someone wanted to do this in game, especially if they play together with their better half. No, it's not probably era accurate, but it's not neon, blessed, grandfathered or anything else either. Just thinking out loud.

On a completely another topic, I've always wondered why the stack count is capped at 60k...
