Im not too concerned with getting a bunch of chars leveled all fast. It's been around 8-9 yrs since I've played. I'm just looking forward to getting in in. I made some good friends back then. I still talk to some of them. I m tryin to get them to tag along lol.

I believe that link and download includes Razor. Razor isn't a macro, it is an assistant program (3rd party program) that enables you to do many things you otherwise would not be able to. Creating and running macros are just one of many functions it can perform. While it may not technically be era accurate to use, it is as close to UO Assist available today, which many players used in-era

You'll love UOSA a lot, just don't get too caught up in being the leetist, richest, whatever right off the bat. Just enjoy it, I honestly love UO for nostalgia so much I'll play an empty classic server just to wander Britannia.
Keep it in perspective and you will enjoy it for years.
Is there a way my Archer can get that Quote as a tattoo? When I get killed I allmost never go to the house, sure theres Gold & bows, Armor & arrows, in fact everything is there to reequip him 50x over. But He's a woodsmen, he will have a dagger and shears in his pack. With a dagger he can shear sheep & kill a ratman that has an axe. With an axe & dagger he can get "the makings" for bow & arrows. then find an open door house with a wheel & loom. Cooked birds, bandages, bow & arrows all to be had without ever setting foot intown.

Very cool! When I started here, it took me 3 months to save up for a small house. I actually used camping because it allowed me as a Swordsman to log off out in the wild. Just through normal use, I got Camping up to 50-something! I didn't have enough magery to reliably recall, and scrolls were a luxury (I kept a recall scroll for emergencies only). I couldn't afford a mount, so I used to leg it everywhere. I wore the sub-par armour that my newbie Blacksmith made, from ingots that he mined himself.

that hybird warrior i would start 50 archery 50 mage if you must keep archery which has been nerfed here various times to what is accurate to our target date. the bard i guess 50 mage 50 med
0 -55 resist is easy you just run in a firefield for a few min you can get gm med magery and about 90-92 some odd resist by doing all 3 at once after you get 55 resist med should gm first if you do it properly when it comes to adjust your macro every 1.0-5.0 even to change the point at which you med. even starting med at 0 and buying to 28 you should gm med first just with more tinkering around every so often which requires you to check back on the macro you only gain med by using the skill actively here. the warrior template i use this
http://my.uosecondage.com/Status/Player/61172 with gm resist the above character is not mine but i use the same template earlier on before maxing him out i had hiding before i finished his magery and wrestling it's great for pvp and duels

Nice. I'll prolly just learn med for the bard. Thinkin of starting with 50 mage 50 music or a combo of music/provo.
Anyone know what it takes to start with a newb instrument?

you can music in 2 hours =\ you want to pick the harder more costly skills magery from 28-50 more regs / time then spamming a instrument with 0 delay and gming music in 2 hours speeding up your total provoke gming time due to never failing to play the instrument and yeah start with 1 music for a noob instrument or just make a throw away character on another account and trade it

I started my bard/mage (same build) with 50 magery and 50 provoke, you'll get a newbie instrument from the provoke skill.
