Make sure in your thread title to put "free to play and download".
This is what I do, other forums that have off-topic section you can mention uosa.

I found UOSA, by accident. Not because I was looking for a T2A server (I never played T2A, I started in UOR). And I didn't google UO free server, but UO private server and went thru the lists of servers. I made a char thinking: this prolly is a unpopulated server, lets run around and see.
And course we don't get a lot of players thru the lists, but how can u if you so low in that list? There is a reason why other servers give voting a priority. Am not saying you have to give hand outs for voting, maybe just do a staff held event
By saying mouth to mouth is best way to attract new players, you are cutting off a lot of other players imo. Sure you can tell about UOSA on gaming forums, but most ppl there think: FUCK OFF with that sucky graphic old school game.

You may get replies insulting the game's graphics and age but nevertheless you'll get new comers. People who are sick of all the failure sandboxes like Haven and Hearth, Mortal Online ect. will try this shard out because they REALLY want a real sandbox experience.
UOSA is still the only server in the world that delivers that.
