Its not pointless.. especially if a newb is PKed over and over.
UO can be a very daunting and confusing game to get used to. Armor and weapons are fine as handouts.
Anyway, bump! Hit me up if you need a suit!

yah i started 3 months ago and im the guy who likes to be out there gaining skills atleast for the first few and well you run out of armour really quick as a provo macer lol
but i do advice ANY new player to make a provo dexxer to start they generate good money and are easy to make

Lumberjack fletch.. turn logs into bows (( trees are everywhere!! )).. make about 1-2k an hour
Stealing.. run around stealing from every monster you see.. I have stolen everything off a lich while 2 others where fighting him.. this can annoy others.. but who cares its UO after all..
Provoke.. make to mobs fight while you hit them to gain skill yourself...

how to avoid PK's?? avoid dungeons.. avoid high travel spots.. traveled from trinsic to brit provoking and gaining in archery.. on my 2nd day? made over 4k off that run. took less then an hour.. my provoke was about 55.. and archery maybe 58 when i started.. so yea its simple to make cash.. they just need guidance.. not hand outs.. .. but that is only my opinion..
This is only true if you give people alot of gold, but AshBorn is helping out with armor and things you need to go out and Catch that fish!

I think this is a very honorable thing that you are doing for newcomers. More people should be as helpful as you, it would make UOSA's population rise out from the gutter.
I agree that this game can be extremely daunting and confusing and make you want to rage quit the second you step out of town as a noob, but people such as yourself who help everyone out make the beginning of the game much more pleasant.
+1 for this.
I would also like to contribute a bit but unfortunately I am no good item wise. I just came back from a long ass break and basically have nothing but the essentials. If anybody needs advice on razor usage, macros, hotkeys, guides etc please feel free to PM me. I am a razor genius and will share everything I know with ya if it helps you out!
