50 int is great for a few reasons:
EQ
Meteor Swarm/Chain Lightning
4 greater heals
impervious to mind blast
When played right, this template is completely overpowering.
I have the same build except I substitute poison for eval. Finishing with an ebolt is very effective. You can always carry 3-4 DPed weapons on you and rotate as needed.
Re: Best PVP build?
Yea I have an eval/anat dexer but I seem to be more effective when spamming purple pots instead of pulling up an ebolt mid fight. The eval/anat dexer is great for quick run and gun ganks though.Robbbb wrote:

Re: Best PVP build?
Hmm, I'd considered boosting my medi-warrior's int up to 50 from 40.. Good idea then, yes?

as soon as you ran into town 1v1 flatlined i decided to grab a ghouls wep to prevent that... and i did. that's what those weps are for.Robbbb wrote:Matty wrote:when i killed you ingame about 10 mins ago you left quite a few potions on your corpse. you probably should have chugged chugged chugged.Robbbb wrote:Matty wrote:if you're not at least borderline rich, the tank make is the best pvp build. if you have enough money/magic items, the dexer is the best build. but you will have to load your character with all the gear: thunder/DB/GT weapons, tele, invis, reflect items & the best armor & potions along with frenzied ostard or mare. if you can afford to do this, i think fencing and macing are the best. imo charged war axes are the best weapon in the game for any dexer. they hit hard and fast. add spell damage and it's very difficult for someone to get away as long as you're purple potting and hitting them every time.
fencing/macing
tactics
anat
healing
hiding (or poisoning if fencer)
resist
magery
100 str
100 dex
25 int
You would think you had more gold than me the way you chug, chug, chug and use charges like they are free.....and then still have to duel for 30 minutes with no outcome...

Re: Best PVP build?
Do herding overnight, if you're not done by then, do camping.
Camping is another great skill for stat build up. To use camping simply gather some kindling, and double click on it. To get kindling you can either use a bladed item on a tree (your noobied dagger works great), or even better, go buy a hatchet or an axe (any type of axe, except war axe, will do). Equip the axe and double click on it and target a tree. You are now lumberjacking. If you are successful, you will harvest logs from the tree, and they will be placed in your backpack. You can use your dagger on the logs to create kindling, and get a better kindling yield per tree, plus you might get some STR gains from working lumberjacking, effectively killing 2 birds with the same stone. Camping also doesn't have a skill delay usage, so you can spam double clicking on your kindling every second and you'll be using the skill.

Let me rephrase the question.
What's the best build to quickly get into PVP for someone starting completely new that has no gold?

Re: Best PVP build?
Well, that's a paradox, because I could tell you that a 55 resist warrior is the cheapest and fastest PvP build, however, unless you are rolling with the absolute best equipment out there, you're gonna be getting rolled, and are gonna loose more than you would if you farmed for gold while macroing a 7x hally mage (which isn't terribly expensive/time consuming to make if you conform with around 90 resist, which is actually not bad to field with).

Re: Best PVP build?
If you don't have any money, the standard 7x swords tank is the best.GodrickRykker wrote:Let me rephrase the question.

Most builds have resist, and that takes some money to train.
You could start out with this
magery
med
eval
tactics
swords
wrestling
75-85 resist/15-25 anat
You could build this character pretty quick for about 40k or so and then finish resist when you get more gold (would take another 40k or so to finish resist)

I think I will go with this and train resist when I can. I guess I don't need to be a huge hurry for PVP. I will PVP as soon as I can, and if resist gets me killed some, oh well.Ragancy wrote:If you don't have any money, the standard 7x swords tank is the best.GodrickRykker wrote:Let me rephrase the question.

Re: Best PVP build?
Also remember if you plan on fielding your character before he's complete (i.e. 95+ resist), be sure to take counts on any annoying blues you meet as you will just burn the counts off when you're macroing/finishing resist. CheersGodrickRykker wrote:
