Not sure what the snippit is. You could take the screenshot and select a small part of it (part of the castle + map in this case) and save it as a separate file. That is what I usually do.

Thats basically what a snipping tool does without having to take shot of the whole screen first.

Its available with windows 7, not sure if its available with earlier versions. Its just called Snipping Tool

Found it, under Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Snipping tool.
