I'm not really referring to the horse stamina itself in my comment. I was specifically talking about your character's stamina while on a mount. Currently your actual character's stamina will decrease from actual movement on the mount including the mount's stamina on top of that. I don't ever recall this being the case. I only remember the actual horses stamina depleting from movement and it could be replenished from the all follow me bug of course. The only time I ever remember your actual character's stamina decreasing from movement on a mount is if you were overloaded or losing stamina from a macer whacking on you. I'm wondering how many others remember it working this way?

From what I can remember you didn't lose stamina while running on your mount. You could run for hours by jumping off the horse and saying all follow me and go back on.

this is true.

i used to make a living off selling horses at the bank during this era
You made a living not because they they were more expensive in stables, bc they weren't ... its because they didn't spawn in the old lands, only in T2A ...

Tamer could go came a ton of horses in T2A and bring them to sell at bank. Currently, they spawn anywhere [Old lands, and T2A]
Horses spawned everywhere.

I remember 760 specifically. This was on Baja late 99.

They did fluctuate. I do not know what would control it but it always felt like the price defaulted to 760. I always thought it had to do with the stable master selling off pets from players who were unable to pay their stable fee. Because it did occasionally get as low as 550.

I remember paying a variety of prices, with 760 being the modal price.

Horses did not spawn on the mainland during T2A. I played a tamer in this era, and remember that crystal clear. However, that being said, I like having horses in the wild :).

Well I traveled from stable to stable trying to find a stable
master/animal tamer that was selling horses for less than 2500 gold and
could not find one at all. Personally I find it disgusting that horses,
pack horses and pack llamas were all 2500 gold. Everywhere.
I paged a GM on this "bug" because I figured that the prices were wrong
on this shard by mistake. The answer I got back was "this is the price
here, it is not a bug, nothing is wrong".

How much are you supposed to feed a horse to raise it's Stamina here? I died in Terathan Keep because my horse ran out of stamina, I fed it 3 apples (one by one), and then it ran out of stamina again about 3-4 screens away. Does the "all follow me" trick you guys are talking about work here?

Currently the all follow me doesn't work. This may be fixed soon.
