Agreed...for positive attribute items, like agility. For negative attribute items like clumsiness, they always pay 2-3gps.

I invite you to test this for yourself if you don't believe me. Have the character who IDed the item try to sell it to and NPC tailor, and please reply with how much he offered.

And at the end of the day, I'm glad you're having interest in the item, and it already surpasses your minimum acceptable bid. I'm just trying to inform of the way things work here.

an ID wand is the only exception to this rule and we both know it's a cop-out to bring them into this discussion. you can't sit there and say that a 100+ charged pair of pants isn't extremely rare. i'm glad people are showing interest as well. i've saved these pants for months.

Hah, I had some earrings of nighteyes with over 100 charges that I let go in my keep loot party. I don't think they're as common, but more like vanq drops. Random and still occurring, so I dunno, whatever floats your boat. I agree it's not a rare really. Unless there was a patch that indicated they can't spawn like that.

All negative impact charges are worthless to NPCs and they will give you item base value for it (1-5 gp depending on the item).
I also ID/sell all items with my craftsman and can vouch for that info, as Pirul has indicated.

i have way more +25 vanq hallies and 30+ charged ghouls touch high end weps than i do 100+ non id wands, which is one. it's extremely rare, like it or not.

i was actually thinking of just using them on my stealth pk for that reason. but i think you can use a wizard's hat anyways.
