For the Skeptics at the top of my thread.i purchased the sorrow121 halberd blow out sale for 400k. that was 28 halberds and baridiches nothing less than force. that averaged to 14300 a weapon. and your going to tell me the prices have not dropped? I may be offering over fair market value right now but my offer still stands pm me before the gold dries up.

he got those at an idoc with us and a majoriy of them were Bardiches , he didn't farm them it was pretty much free money in our pocket, that fact is if you're farming for a + 25 hally and only selling & buying for 150k it wouldn't be worth it Farming pure mares u can get 3 in a week and sell for 50k each which is less rare then finding a + 25 Vanq Hally farming terra keep or doing a few t maps each day. I'm going based on the rarity of finding them which hasn't changed at all.

If rarity of finding them hasn't changed then the price would not drop. Only reason Raodin got those for 400k is because we got them off an idoc and any gold we made was profit not because we farmed them and sold them for what they were worth.

You're arguing with common sense.

It doesn't make a difference whether the rarity changes if there are no buyers at previous price levels. Obviously this was the case here: although you had demand for the goods in question, no one (or very few people) wanted to match what Fede was offering - in other words, the demand at the price level he set was limited to pretty much him alone. Now that Fede is no longer around there is still demand for them, but not at the prices he used to pay. So as Raodin said, prices are lower now. The same people who wanted halberds in the past still want them, but they never wanted them at Fede's prices in the first place.

I know it's difficult for you, but at least make an attempt to understand that we are not talking about what YOU think the price for something is. We are talking about the general market consensus for the price levels of a certain item.

Not even going to argue with you , you sell for what you want but no way I'm selling for cheap so someone can buy them up then turn around later and sell them for more so enjoy .

Anytime i have bought a 25 vanq or a 20 vanq i have paid right around 100-200k if you pay anymore i think thats crazy. But thats just me.

No one is forcing anyone to sell anything at a certain price. The man has just stated what he is offering, leaving it up to you to take it or leave it. Where have I said that I have sold or bought halberds at these prices - you and your buddy on the contrary did make such a transaction, further suggesting that the price levels have changed. Regardless of the way you obtained them, if the prices hadn't changed, surely you would have made more money out of your auction unless you just felt like doing charity and not selling for the high bidder. It's more likely though, that there was no demand for anything higher than the 400k Raodin paid. To further demonstrate the logic behind supply and demand, yeah, I could make a thread saying I will buy your CBDs/black dye tubs for 10k each. Should I find a seller, it would be very likely that someone would step in and say they'll pay double, because there is demand for them and that drives the prices up. Either way, no one is forcing anyone to sell anything at a certain price: the man just let people know what he is paying, it's up to the seller whether they agree or not.

And you really shouldn't be telling people to stop convincing what something is worth, dude look back a page and see who was among the first people to voice their opinion about the same matter? Yes, you. I'm fine with the fact that you don't agree on his offer, but it's not like the man is doing something to hurt your business, is it?

I agree with you that it takes a long time finding halberds, but the current price level does not match the effort. So I'm fine with keeping mine and waiting to see if prices go up again. Same applies if I see someone selling cheap: wait and re-sell for profit.

Anyway, let's get back on track and let this be a thread for buying halberds. I'm still saying Raodin is paying a fair (market) price for them - like I said in the beginning.

I didn't even bother reading that wall of text like I said I'm not arguing with you, You think you're right then stick with that but you're not going to convince me something I know end of story, Sell you're hallys for cheap and I'll sell them for what they been selling for.

I would like to thank the people who understood my logic with my offers on the Halberds. I would like to thank the people who have sold me the goods. The old saying is true. There are two prices concerning any item for sale. The price someone is asking for it. The price someone is willing to pay for it. You can ask whatever you want for something but the more accurate price is what the consensus of buyers is willing to pay.
