With the official decision to leave the server he split all of his assets amongst a small group of individuals who still actively, or occasional play on Second Age. The rares-museum castle was not altered, only the ownership changed hands, as it was stated that he wanted to keep the castle in its current form for all of the players on Second Age to be able to view. So, in short, giving your possessions away to other players is not a legal act, and will result in the accounts involved being banned, without any warning at all & no factual evidence at all necessary to make this decision.

Events like these are specifically related to why there are very few veterans who continue to play on Second Age, because the administration will ban you at the very moment an opportunity arises. Clearly they had already received sufficient funds from his monthly subscriptions, which were abruptly ended back when the forum moderators (not staff) were abusing their privileges to view detailed information of the paypal/donation logs. Even to this very day, the forum moderators can view all of your IP addresses, even petty moderators such as those for single guild-forums.

Long story short, this is Derrick's server and if he didn't want any of us playing here, he could have easily just said "fuck you" and banned the accounts, that's really not an issue. However instead of just being forth-right, they went about doing it in a shady way, and basically made up new rules/policy on the spot as sufficient evidence to justify a ban, so that the integrity of the server didn't take a hit.

It certainly seems like bans are being given more actively this year, which frankly I'm OK with, as I've said in the past I think the staff was way too lax and forgiving with that stuff. Though of course I have no idea what the background to these events has been.

But come on... first of all, your statement above ("the very moment an opportunity arises") is just petty and silly. And second, perhaps a more obvious reason vets leave is because we played this game for a while in 1999, and now for a while here, and most of us are older, with outside responsibilities and interests. If I had to guess why people ultimately leave here, I'd guess it's a ratio of 10:1 my reasoning to yours. And I'm being generous.

Everything looted from this IDOC should be trashbarreled. I will try to attend and trashbarrel as much as I can, feel free to join me.

This is completely correct.

I am not sure how I was brought into this post but I said nothing of the sort... This whole Telemon situation is completely unbelievable and really should of been handled better. One of many I have been hearing about lately.

Looking at what is in the last few that have dropped Telemon must have put hours into it and I know if it was me I would be gutted it was all going to waste.

This will be a player run event, you wait and see

If you remember Beating U's idoc, lots of baddies will be provided. This has at least one guaranteed death for everyone who shows.
I am way off on the drop time, was just overly excited when I saw Telamon's minions camping, confirmed to me that it was going down.
The Eternal Empire will fall and his crowning jewel to scripting, his museum.

Trust me, Telamon and his minions will be there to try and reacquire some of the loot back.
My guess/hunch is this will not go down as a normal IDOC, by the populace or the admin

Editing posts in this forum and calling it vandalism is the icing on the cake for this shard pertaining to ignorance.

I would not be surprised if it were dropped manually from staff exactly when uhh members and Blackfoots friends are there per the usual event occurrences.

Sandro made some very brazen claims there.... I think he's wearing hate colored goggles, also his opinion is extremely biased in this situation.

There has been so much slander against UOSA since Telemon's shard opened up, what Sandro wrote is just another unfounded pot shot at UOSA.
