Unless I'm mistaken, I believe Otak played on Siege, where there was no statloss.Sadistik wrote:Otak wrote:Era Accuracy= no statloss.

This is a great idea. The guild I was a member of back in the day on Catskills had so much fun doing RP events and battles with Shadowclan. I also had a Shadowclan Orc 'Grubgut' and it was great fun. I remember studying the speech and lore for my membership test. Yub Yub! Me lub dat Lusk-R! Har!

I played exclusively on Siege and SC was a steadfast guild. Other Guilds emulated their play style because it enabled so much fun.
I love Second Age but I think that two rules from Siege should be enacted...
1. No STAT Loss period...... Enables REDS to run freely and encourages evil guilds and good guilds.
2. Remove Recall- force groups to have dedicated mages to go places but when they get over run by Melee fighters then you have to protect your mages... Makes for more tactical battles.
I am loving being back and playing UO the way it was meant. Miss the Undead too but hey can't have it all.

The first option removes the side effects of killing innocent players. No.Ghazgull wrote:I played exclusively on Siege and SC was a steadfast guild. Other Guilds emulated their play style because it enabled so much fun.

The second option makes travel for warriors completely reliant on mages. No.

Re: Yew orc fort: a count-free warzone
Weren't the NPC Orcs at the Urkfort also guilded to URK? It's a nice touch.

Re: Yew orc fort: a count-free warzone
I was with the Bloodrock Clan when they were here, and whenever we or any other guild held any shard wide event, we were all dead, burning off counts for at least a week or more when the events were over due to players comming to these events KNOWING they could die but gave counts anyway. I never understood that because these would be the same players who would post that they were bored with nothing for them to do, and no events happening. This zone would fix at least some of that by encouraging a focal point for those who enjoy PVP as well as those who get that little adrenaline rush from taking a chance in a known "hostile" area.Nystal wrote:I can't believe people are sad enough to give counts to Orcs.
Love em or Hate em, theres no doubt that since Shadowclan appeared on UOSA they've contributed to the shard.
I hope you can get the same GM treatment that the Bloodrocks have gotten in the past.

T2a accurate in your dreams.
ANG showing you how to play since 1997
Re: Yew orc fort: a count-free warzone
No. Look at Hybrid. Zero statloss and everyone is a red murderer. No war guilds, hardly any PvE... everyone just roams red and its an absolutely horrible server partly because of that. There is zero risk to being a murderer. I say this as a red.Ghazgull wrote:I played exclusively on Siege and SC was a steadfast guild. I like this idea but it just kills it for a lot of people and brings down the QoL of pure warriors and cuts into their fun. Both of these are NEA so they will not happen anyways.2. Re: Yew orc fort: a count-free warzone
No recall, and no marking in dungeons is Era Accurate, but was limited to Siege Perilous. I don't think there is anything stating Era Accuracy of only production shards, although I may be wrong. Even considering that, I doubt there will be any change. I do support the removal of recall, whatever that's worth.
Side note: Are there any warriors without magery on this shard? Fresh toons, not included.
Sorry, I don't mean to derail the thread. I also support giving the Shadowclan the PVP fort.
