Earth Quake Through Tower?

OK, i'm the one that killed alatar in his house, as well as dupre on the island. All I will say is I did not use earthquake. Earthquake is working 100% fine

First, it IS possible to be killed by the EQ spell alone.

I was killed in my house with earthquake yesterday.. I cannot say for sure that's what killed me but I have my door locked and am in a location which is outside range for any AoE spell except EQ.. Not saying its unaccurate, but it might be possible to kill someone with it, a check might be in order.

The spot you were macroing at in your patio wasn't safe from Meteor Storm or Chain Lightning.

Is that t2a specific? I don't ever recall eq being able to kill, but I can't find any documents on the spell in this era, wayback machine isnt working right for me

Not really sure, actually. Been meaning to look into it, since I noticed it was possible a month or two ago. Derrick was under the impression it couldn't kill you alone aswell. But for now, it's possible to kill people with EQ alone in-game. Not very practical, 'cause it'll take you from 60%, to 16, to 4, to 1, then you have to be hit with it again to kill you from 1. And two EQs should be all you can cast with 100 mana.

So, not practical. But possible. Just so everyone's aware.

No isnt. EQ does not kill. Ive tested it on this server countless times. With 3 mages helping. Even Derrick agrees that EQ doesnt kill.

It was my understanding htat eq does 50% of whatever hp your at. Meaning it cannot kill you.

Yes but during all Pre-AoS eras EQ could kill you, it just took quite a few tries, and you had to get them casted fast enough before the person regenerated back to 1 hp from 0. You could kill all types of monsters through walls with EQ..

Yes, it is.. the location in the middle of my house is unreachable by AoE's and Explosion Potions from within as long as the doors locked. I figured out how he killed me, used to playing Siege rules forgot Telekinesis was active..

I was unable to kill with EQ, by the time I casted the spell the player had already regenerated, every time. I hadn't considered or tested using two mages syncing to do it. I still think it's be a pretty rare case where EQ could kill, but probably ought to file this under highly improbable rather than impossible.

Anway, I'm glad the mystery was solved.

Well I think its rather skillful that you can afk kill players at home. Now that I have a full book, you should try fighting me with something besides blade spirits.. or is that not in your pvp agenda? ..

I tested the entire house about 30 times, and unless they're using a 3rd party client then you can't hit me with Meteor, or Chain. Now im sorry because you're staff you think you know everything, but you can't. EQ kills right? There ya go.
