RA and feeblemind are two spells best used on dexers(mind blast?). Mages should fight to kill, not survive till sudden death. Sudden death is too luck-based and has little to do with the intelligent spell choice and mana conservation that distinguishes mages from dex monkeys.

Nevertheless I support tourneys of all rules, keep up the videos!

I think the best way to combat the long tournament times is having multiple arenas, obviously. With that said, 'sudden death' is also helpful in moving things along. The big negative is I think it might result in some people attempting to play completely defensive, in hopes of staying alive long enough to reach 'sudden death' where luck truly prevails.
