I don't. I could have swore they used to be a spawning rare. But after seeing this auction ttake off, it has come to light that it no longer spawns.

I double clicked the knitting and it asked me to target the cloth to use. Apparently it is a usable item. I didn't know that and I figured most other people wouldn't either.
