I mean like the cannon and open casket and the shrine on the roof. Were these event rewards? And if not, how are they acquired?

Most of these were server birth rares, that only existed when the server was brand new, the other "uniques" are aquired via 1000 silver trade in. Hence, not aquirable by new players.

Some/most of these rares are from the tower in question that was transferred to cavewight from Sebben. This tower was located in UoH and is now empty.. His tower now includes the rares that became missing after said transfer.

I can't wrap my mind around people paying real life money for rares on this shard.

In the era I could understand ppl paying money for houses, buying castles on e-bay and gold and stuff like that. But here, now, on a FREE shard. I'm kinda bewildered!

I'm even further intrigued by how it was that Derrick caught them at all. It seems to me that two parties could buy and sell in secret all the doo-da-day without about zero chance of getting caught. So I have to guess there were more than two parties involved and loose lips got the better of them.

But that's just speculation based on what little is actually known here.

My personal opinion is that it would be entirely within the parameters of justice to publicly announce ALL the parties who were busted here. But again, not knowing all the ins and outs, I leave that to Derrick's discrection.
