So obviously Hydroxides bid of 1 billion gold was a joke, and the last action this had on bidding was a week ago tomorrow...
Is there an end date on this auction or is it one of those things where it will be pulled off the market instead of sold?

How is this sold? I was in the lead as of the previous biddings and there was obviously no buyout posted or no retraction of the bidding?

And also, if a PM was offered for buyout, it's usually a good idea to offer the HIGH BIDDER the chance to match that offer...that is one of the most shady business deals that has ever went down on UOSA imo...
I believe an explanation is in order on this one...

I have to agree, this property should absolutely go to Dyne who had the highest bid.
And Dyne didn't even have the opportunity to bid against his competitor? No notifications, nothing.
WTF? I won't be taking part in any more of Casey's auctions.
BAD BUSINESS

Aye, seller could have at least posted "The bidding amount is no where close to what i had in mind so I am pulling this off the market for now"...not just leaving it like it was for a week, leading me to believe i was high bidder, and then being told it is sold? WTF is that seriously?

Perhaps the buyer and seller already had an agreement, and the purpose of this fake auction was to gauge the market value so they could settle on a price. Shady indeed.
And a pretty bad omen for any vendor market that might go up there. I certainly wont' be shopping there, since similarly deceptive business practices can surely be expected.

Casey can explain but she rarely gets on. Since she was a guildmate I took it off her hands. I asked not to be named as the buyer. If you want it for 200 silver and get into a bidding war with me that's where it starts. Sorry for the confusion. Casey does good trades I just messed it up for her with a plan for the red skulls. I will compensate you 20 silver for communication issues.

I had communication issues as well, please compensate me 20 silver, or more. I'm really in pain here from the bad communication.

200 silver is only 3m to 4m gold, if the bidding would have went there, I may have also, with their being no mention of what was going on, i never had the chance...
Edit: But i am currently sitting on 15 million in liquid gold, over 800+ in silver, i would at least have liked to had the chance to match the bids since this WAS on the forums in auction format...

So it's exactly as I suspected then
It's gonna cost you *40* silver to make ME shut up about this sleazefest.
And trust me, that's a bargain

That was the point. I Offered a private buyout and she accepted. Unfortunately the post didn't get closed but it happens. If you want to take it for my buyout go for it. Sometimes guildmates get priority but I'm willing to let you make your dream of a vendor mecah happen if Casey is. If not, I'm buying it.
