I agree that reg buying and afk mining are exactly the same in concept.

I agree with this, you spend gold on pickaxes/shovels for ingots, or you spend gold on reagents and sell them for profit. One may yield more cash per hour than the other...but still the same concept.

All pretty lame as far as the person trying to buy regs on the fly, sure. Stalk a shop that's routinely hit for an hour though, and you'll be more than rewarded for the wait considering it takes a redic amount of effort to buy-up restock quantities anymore.
