Another player offered to sell me a couple pieces of reversed hanging armor. He said that it can only be put down one time as reversed and then it reverts to its intended position. I wonder how that all works

Ya. Its not like I don't believe it because I've actually seen it first hand...but I just don't feel comfortable with rares that morph in and out of their rare state depending on location.
That said, hanging armors are some of the best decorative rares in uo history.
