It's pretty sad with what it turned out to be. It was an event I thought would be fun, I was there and was actually enjoying it. With most events I feel left our cuz of mi horrible comp and overall lagginess from being located on the other side of the world, so I thought that this would be one I could participate in and have fun. Nay.
As far as scams are concerned and with this being a very elaborate one, one might say it should be illegal to "abuse" the forums like this. If this would have been posted in the newly created "Player Run Events" section I would have said it should be investigated further, but it was not. This is "The Crossroads Tavern" section which might be considered in-game/rp gossip of sorts, announcements. The thread was created before that new section existed, but I think that since it was here, it's "off the hook", but man, was I mad when I realized what just happened...

Reputation is all you have when it comes to player run initiatives.
A ruined rep for this hardly seems worth it

Hardly seemed worth the effort for what they gained, honestly.

This is why they tried to do it under a false alias. Good catch, I wish I had known about it, the house that was used appeared one day next to my castle and was gone the next day, after the brutal massacre!
