There is absolutely a reason to GM poisoning. The chance to hit with poison is based on the "Poisoners" skill, not the weapon holder. So a gm, would poison a weapon (or food) to hit with poison 100/25 = 25% chance. The incriments are stepped, so currently your sub-par weapons are only hitting with abot a 20%.
Ok so why do i have 0 poisoning, but when i use a poisoned wep i land the dp almost every other shot? I'd say you don't need to gm poisoning, and GP works just fine...no need to have gm..

Because Matron correctly said its based off the "poisoners" skill. Not your own.

It wasn't until UO:R that the weapon holder had to have poisoning. T2A was the age of mules and I knew of no one that had poisoning on their pvper in 1999.

It's funny, I still think that idea is a little strange.

Very famous pvpr on Great Lakes named Czar of Endo. He had poisoning on his fencer. Tore stuff up like nuts. It might not have been popular, but people still did have it. Poisoning on the fly was extremely useful.
